Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK SOUND QUALITY 
    1. Is sound quality always bad?

      OK: Always 

    • NG: Go to step   5 
    • OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  2. CHECK CASSETTE TAPE PLAYER 
    1. Is cassette tape player operating normally?
    • OK: INSPECT RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY 
    • NG: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  3. CHECK SPEAKER 
    1. Is speaker properly installed?
    • NG: INSTALL PROPERLY 
    • OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  4. REPLACE SPEAKER 
    1. Temporarily install another speaker. Functions OK?
    • OK: SPEAKER FAULTY 
    • NG: RADIO ASSEMBLY OR STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER FAULTY (RECHECK SYSTEM AFTER REPAIR) 
  5. CHECK RADIO WAVE SIGNAL OR LOCATION 
    1. Is sound quality bad in certain areas only?

      OK: Sound quality is bad only in certain areas. 

    • OK: POOR SIGNALS, POOR LOCATION 
    • NG: REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
