Inspection Procedure

- INSPECT BATTERY (VOLTAGE)
- Measure the voltage of the battery.
Standard voltage: 11 to 14 V
- NG: RECHARGE OR REPLACE BATTERY
- OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- Measure the voltage of the battery.
- INSPECT FUSE (ACC, ECU-B1, ECU-IG1)
- Remove the ACC, ECU-B1 and ECU-IG1 fuses from cowl side junction block LH.
- Measure the resistance of the fuses.
Standard resistance: Below 1 Ω
- NG: REPLACE FUSE
- OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MULTI-DISPLAY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the M9 display connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard resistance
MULTI-DISPLAY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND (RESISTANCE)Tester Connection Specified Condition M9-8 (GND) - Body ground Below 1 Ω - Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.
Standard voltage
MULTI-DISPLAY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND (VOLTAGE)Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition M9-9 (+B) - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V M9-10 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC 10 to 14 V M9-11 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- OK: REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY
