Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT BATTERY (VOLTAGE) 
    1. Measure the voltage of the battery.

      Standard voltage: 11 to 14 V 

    • NG: RECHARGE OR REPLACE BATTERY 
    • OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  2. INSPECT FUSE (ACC, ECU-B1, ECU-IG1) 
    1. Remove the ACC, ECU-B1 and ECU-IG1 fuses from cowl side junction block LH.
    2. Measure the resistance of the fuses.

      Standard resistance: Below 1 Ω 

    • NG: REPLACE FUSE 
    • OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MULTI-DISPLAY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the M9 display connector.
    2. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard resistance 

      MULTI-DISPLAY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND (RESISTANCE)

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      M9-8 (GND) - Body ground Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard voltage 

      MULTI-DISPLAY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND (VOLTAGE)

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      M9-9 (+B) - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V
      M9-10 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC 10 to 14 V
      M9-11 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V

    • NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    • OK: REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY
