Inspection Procedure

NOTE: When replacing the ABS & TRACTION actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration (See CALIBRATION ).

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY TECHSTREAM (SKID CONTROL BUZZER)

Connect Telecaster to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch on (IG) and turn Telecaster main switch on.

Select "ACTIVE TEST" on Telecaster.

ACTIVE TEST: ABS / VSC / TRAC

Check that the buzzer sounds/stops when turning the skid control buzzer on/off by using Telecaster.

INSPECT SKID CONTROL BUZZER (POWER SOURCE TERMINAL VOLTAGE)

Disconnect the skid control buzzer connector.
Turn the ignition switch on (IG).

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

OK: Go to next step

INSPECT SKID CONTROL BUZZER
1. Disconnect the skid control buzzer connector.
2. Apply battery negative voltage to terminal 1, and battery positive voltage to terminal 2 of the skid control buzzer, and then check that the buzzer sounds.
  OK:
  
  Skid control buzzer sounds.
NG: REPLACE SKID CONTROL BUZZER

OK: Go to next step

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU TO SKID CONTROL BUZZER)

Disconnect the skid control ECU connector.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

A34-30 (BZ) - Body ground	10 kΩ or higher

If troubleshooting has been carried out according to the PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE, refer back to the table and proceed to the next step before replacing the part (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE ).
