Throttle Body: Installation

INSTALL THROTTLE WITH MOTOR BODY ASSEMBLY
1. Install a new throttle body gasket to the intake air surge tank.

2. Install the throttle w/ motor body assembly and wire harness clamp stay to the intake air surge tank with the 4 bolts.
  Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
3. Connect the throttle w/ motor body assembly connector.

CONNECT WATER BY-PASS HOSE
1. Connect the 2 water by-pass hoses to the throttle w/ motor body assembly.
INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE (See INSTALLATION )

CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
ADD ENGINE COOLANT (See REPLACEMENT )
INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (See REPLACEMENT )
INSTALL V - BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
CHECK FUNCTION OF THROTTLE BODY (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
