Removal (To 12/2010): Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag working.

  2. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER NO. 2  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
  3. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER NO. 3  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 3
  4. REMOVE STEERING PAD  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 5
  5. REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the pad switch connector from the spiral cable.

    2. Disengage the clamp and remove the 2 screws.
    3. Disengage the 4 pins and remove the steering pad switch assembly.
