ID Code Box Power Source Circuit: Procedure

  1. INSPECT ID CODE BOX 
    1. Disconnect the ID Code Box Power Source Circuit.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D29-1 (MPXB) - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D29-8 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK → PROCEED TO  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
