Removal (To 12/2010): Removal

NOTE:
  • Do not use dropped or damaged yaw rate sensors.
  • Prevent foreign matter from attaching between the yaw rate sensor bracket and body.
  • Confirm that the sensor direction is correct.
  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .

  2. REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER REAR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 35
  3. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 37
  4. REMOVE YAW RATE SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the yaw rate sensor connector.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and yaw rate sensor.
