Data List / Active Test

  1. DATA LIST 

    HINT: 

    Using Techstream Data List allows switch, sensor, actuator and other item values to be read without removing any parts. Reading the Data List early in troubleshooting is one way to save time.

    1. Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the tester on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.
    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the tester.
      MAIN BODY:

      Tester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note
      Trunk Lock/Unlock SW Trunk key switch signal/ON or OFF ON: Trunk is unlocked
      OFF: Trunk is locked
      -
      Luggage Courtesy SW Luggage courtesy switch signal/ON or OFF ON: Luggage courtesy switch is open
      OFF: Luggage courtesy switch is closed
      -
      D Door Courtesy SW Door courtesy switch signal/ON or OFF ON: Door is open
      OFF: Door is closed
      -
      P Door Courtesy SW Door courtesy switch signal/ON or OFF ON: Door is open
      OFF: Door is closed
      -
      Rear Door Courtesy SW Door courtesy switch signal/ON or OFF ON: Door is open
      OFF: Door is closed
      -
      D-Door Lock Pos SW Door unlock detection switch signal/ON or OFF ON: Door is unlocked
      OFF: Door is locked
      -
      Passenger Lock Pos SW Door unlock detection switch signal/ON or OFF ON: Door is unlocked
      OFF: Door is locked
      -
      Rear Lock Position SW Door unlock detection switch signal/ON or OFF ON: Door is unlocked
      OFF: Door is locked
      -
      Door Lock SW-Lock Door lock switch signal (LOCK)/ON or OFF ON: Lock side of the door control switch is pushed
      OFF: Lock side of the door control switch is not pushed
      -
      Door Lock SW-Unlock Door lock switch signal (UNLOCK)/ON or OFF ON: Unlock side of the door control switch is pushed
      OFF: Unlock side of the door control switch is not pushed
      -
      Door Key SW-Lock Door key lock and unlock switch signal/ON or OFF ON: Door key is locked
      OFF: Door key is unlocked
      -
      P Door Key SW-UL Door key lock and unlock switch signal (Front passenger)/ON or OFF ON: Door key is unlocked
      OFF: Door key is locked
      -
      D Door Key SW-UL Door key lock and unlock switch signal (Driver)/ON or OFF ON: Door key is unlocked
      OFF: Door key is locked
      -
  2. ACTIVE TEST 

    HINT: 

    Performing Techstream Active Test allows relay, VSV, actuator and other items to be operated without removing any parts. Performing the Active Test early in troubleshooting is one way to save time. The Data List can be displayed during the Active Test.

    1. Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the tester on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.
    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the tester.
      MAIN BODY:
