Daytime Running Light Function (Canada)

When the power SW is in the IG ON position and the vehicle is ready to drive (READY lamp on the display in combination meter is on), releasing the parking brake cause a signal to be sent to TERMINAL PKB of the body ECU. In this situation, if the light control SW is in the Off, Tail or AUTO position (Headlights are not lit), the body ECU sends daytime operation request from TERMINAL DRL/DIM to the daytime running light relay. As a result, the daytime running light relay activates the headlights (Dimmer than regular lighting)
