Occupant Classification Ecu: Installation: Installation

- INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU
- Install the occupant classification ECU with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 3.0 N*m ( 31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf)
NOTE:- If the occupant classification ECU has been dropped, or there are any cracks, dents or other defects in the case or connector, replace the occupant classification ECU with a new one.
- When installing the occupant classification ECU, be careful that the SRS wiring does not interfere with other parts and that it is not pinched between other parts.
- Do not allow oil or grease to adhere to the occupant classification ECU during installation.
- Connect the connector.NOTE:
When connecting the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.
- Install the occupant classification ECU with the 2 nuts.
- INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side. Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1 .
- INSTALL REAR INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side. Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 2 .
- INSTALL REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side. Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 3 .
- INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side. Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 4 .
- INSTALL FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side. Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 5 .
- INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH
- PERFORM REGISTRATION
- If the occupant classification ECU has been replaced, perform registration. Refer to REGISTRATION .
- ZERO POINT CALIBRATION AND SENSITIVITY CHECK
- If the occupant classification ECU has been replaced, perform zero point calibration and sensitivity check. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
- INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
- Inspect the SRS warning light. Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM .
- INSPECT FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 10
