Front Speed Sensor: Inspection

  1. INSPECT FRONT SPEED SENSOR 
    1. Make sure that there is no looseness at the locking part and the connecting part of the connectors.
    2. Disconnect the front speed sensor connectors.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Resistance: 

      LH 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      A8-1 (FL+) - A8-2 (FL-) 1.22 to 0.92 kΩ
      A8-1 (FL+) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
      A8-2 (FL-) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher

      RH 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      A30-1 (FR+) - A30-2 (FR-) 1.22 to 0.92 kΩ
      A30-1 (FR+) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
      A30-2 (FR-) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
