Inspection Procedure

NOTE: When replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform zero point calibration (See CALIBRATION ).

CHECK HYDRAULIC BRAKE BOOSTER PUMP MOTOR OPERATION
1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Disconnect the skid control ECU connector (A4).
3. Depress the brake pedal more than 20 times.
4. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
5. Check the hydraulic brake booster pump motor operation.
  OK:
  
  Hydraulic brake booster pump operates.
NG: REPLACE BRAKE BOOSTER PUMP ASSEMBLY (See DISASSEMBLY )

OK: Go to next step

RECONFIRM DTC

Turn the ignition switch off.
Reconnect the skid control ECU connector (A4).
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Clear the DTC (See DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).

Check if the same DTC is recorded (See DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).
