Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: Installation

  1. INSTALL ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Install a new gasket to the sensor.
    2. Install the engine coolant temperature sensor.

      Torque: 20 N*m (204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)

    3. Connect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.
  2. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE  (See INSTALLATION )
  3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION  )
  4. INSTALL NO. 1 VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE  (See INSPECTION )
  5. ADD ENGINE COOLANT  (See COOLANT )

  6. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK  (See COOLING SYSTEM )
  7. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  8. INSTALL OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  9. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK 

    HINT:

    See the steps from "Install Windshield Wiper Motor and Link Assembly" through "Install front wiper arm and blade assembly LH" (See INSTALLATION ).

  10. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
