Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: Removal

  1. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK 

    HINT:

    See the steps from "Remove front wiper arm and blade assembly LH" through "Remove windshield wiper motor and link" (See REMOVAL ).

  2. SEPARATE EJECTOR TUBE  (See REMOVAL )
  3. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 
  5. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT  (See COOLANT )
  6. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  7. REMOVE NO. 1 VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE  (See REMOVAL )
  8. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL  )
  9. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE  (See REMOVAL )
  10. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

    2. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor and gasket.
