Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT FUSE (ACC, ECU-IG No. 1, TV) 
    1. Disconnect the ACC and ECU-IG No. 1 fuses from the cowl side junction block LH.
    2. Disconnect the TV fuse from the cowl side junction block RH.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance 

    RESISTANCE REFERENCE

    Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
    TV fuse Always Below 1 Ω
    ACC fuse Always Below 1 Ω
    ECU-IG No. 1 fuse Always Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPLACE FUSE 

    OK: Go to Next Step 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the F28 display connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance 

      RESISTANCE REFERENCE

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F28-10 (GND1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Voltage 

    VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

    Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
    F28-1 (+B1) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
    F28-2 (ACC) - Body ground Engine switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
    F28-3 (IG) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  )
