Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT RADIO RECEIVER 
    1. Disconnect the radio receiver connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E40-20 (E) - Body ground*1 Always Below 1 Ω
      E1-7 (E) - Body ground*2 Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage 

      VOLTAGE SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E40-1 (B) - E40-20 (E)(1) Always 11 to 14 V
      E1-4 (B) - Ei-7 (E)(2) Always 11 to 14 V
      E40-11 (ACC) - E40-20 (E)(1) Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V
      E1-3 (ACC) - E1-7 (E)(2) Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V
      (1) for 7 Speakers
      (2) Except for 7 Speakers

      NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

      OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  )
