ECU Power Source Circuit: Procedure

- INSPECT POSITION CONTROL ECU AND WIRING ASSEMBLY (FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the front power seat switch connectors.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition P14-5 (+B) - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V P13-4 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch on (IG) 10 to 14 V P13-8 (SYSB) - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT POSITION CONTROL ECU AND WIRING ASSEMBLY (FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition P14-1 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (GROUND CIRCUIT)
OK → PROCEED TO PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
