DTC B1272: Power Seat ECU Communication Stop: Procedure

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SEAT ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the P13 and P14 ECU connectors.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition P13-8 (SYSB) - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V P14-5 (+B) - Body ground 10 to 14 V - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition P14-1 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK RESISTANCE OF COMMUNICATION LINE
- Disconnect the P13 and G1 ECU connectors.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition P13-1 (MPX1) - G1-8 (MPX1) Always Below 1 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK → REPLACE POWER SEAT ECU
