Installation (To 12/2010): Installation

- INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY
- Install the starter assembly with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 37 N*m (380 kgf*cm, 26 ft.*lbf)
- Connect the wire harness to terminal 30 and install the nut.
Torque: 9.8 N*m (100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf)
- Cover the nut with the cap.
- Connect terminal 50 to the starter assembly.
- Install the starter assembly with the 2 bolts.
- INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET NO. 1 . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 69
- INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH HOSE . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 70
- CONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
- PERFORM INITIALIZATION

- Some systems need initialization when disconnecting the battery terminal.
