Removal (To 12/2010): Removal

- DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 1
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
- REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 9
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 10
- SEPARATE WATER BY-PASS HOSE
- Disconnect the 2 water by-pass hoses from the throttle w/ motor body assembly.
- REMOVE THROTTLE WITH MOTOR BODY ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the throttle w/ motor body assembly connector.
- Remove the 4 bolts and throttle w/ motor body assembly from the intake air surge tank.
- Remove the throttle body gasket from the intake air surge tank.
