DTC B2271: Ignition Hold Monitor Malfunction: Procedure

- CHECK DTC OUTPUT
- Delete the DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR

HINT:
After all DTCs are cleared, check if the trouble occurs again 6 seconds after the engine switch is turned on (IG).
- Check for DTCs again.
OK
No DTC is output.
NG → See step 2
OK → END
- Delete the DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR
.
- INSPECT FUSE (AM2)
- Remove the AM2 fuse from the engine room J/B.
- Measure the resistance of the fuse.
Resistance
Below 1 Ω
NG → REPLACE FUSE
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU - BATTERY)
- Disconnect the D44 ECU connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
