Skid Control ECU Communication Stop Mode: Procedure

- CHECK CAN BUS WIRE (SKID CONTROL ECU MAIN BUS LINE DISCONNECTION)
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Disconnect the skid control ECU connector (A34).
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified value A34-11 (CANH) - A34-25 (CANL) Ignition switch off 108 to 132 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (IG1, GND1, GND2)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified value A34-1 (GND2) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω A34-32 (GND1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω - Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified value A34-46 (IG1) - Body ground Ignition switch on (IG) 10 to 14 V
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK → See step 3
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU. Refer to REMOVAL
