On-Vehicle Inspection

  1. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the (+) lead from the voltmeter to terminal 2 and the (-) lead from the voltmeter to terminal 3.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 3 Light control switch OFF Below 1 V
      1 - 3 Light control switch TAIL 10 to 14 v
      2 - 3 Brake pedal released Below 1 V
      2 - 3 Brake pedal depressed 10 to 14 v
