Typical Enabling Conditions

TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS CHART

Monitor runs whenever following DTCs not present P0011 (VVT System 1 - Advance)
P0012 (VVT System 1 - Retard)
P0031, P0032 (Air fuel ratio sensor heater - Sensor 1)
P0037, P0038 (Heated oxygen sensor Heater - Sensor 2)
P0102 - P0103 (Mass air flow meter)
P0115 - P0118 (Engine coolant temperature sensor)
P0120 - P0223, P2135 (Throttle position sensor)
P0125 (Insufficient engine coolant temperature for closed loop)
P0136 (heated oxygen sensor - Sensor 2)
P0171, P0172 (Fuel system)
P0300 - P0304 (Misfire)
P0335 (Crankshaft position sensor)
P0340 (Camshaft position sensor)
P0351 - P0354 (Igniter)
P0500 (Vehicle speed sensor)
P2196 (Air fuel ratio sensor - rationality)
P2237 (Air fuel ratio open)
P2A00 (Air fuel ratio sensor - slow response)
Battery voltage 11 V or more
Intake air temperature -10°C (14°F)or more
Engine coolant temperature 75°C (167°F)or more
Atmospheric pressure coefficient 0.75 or more
Idling OFF
Engine RPM Less than 4000 rpm
Air fuel ratio sensor status Activated
Fuel system status Closed loop
Engine load 10 to 80%
All of the following conditions are met Condition 1, 2 and 3
1. Mass air flow rate 2.5 to 40 g/sec
2. Front catalyst temperature (estimated) Automatic transaxle models: 660 to 840°C (1220 to 1544°F)
Manual transaxle models: 635 to 840°C (1175 to 1544°F)
3. Rear catalyst temperature (estimated) 400 to 760°C (752 to 1400°F)

Shift position Automatic transaxle models: 3rd or higher
Manual transaxle models: 4th
