Steering Pad Switch: Inspection

INSPECT STEERING PAD SWITCH (w/ Steering Pad Switch)

Disconnect the steering pad switch assembly connector.

Measure the resistance according to the values in the table below.

MODE switch: pushed

0 to 2.5 Ω

Voice switch: pushed⁽¹⁾

3049.5 to 3370.5 Ω

9 (AU2) - 8 (EAU)

ON HOOK switch: pushed⁽¹⁾

313.5 to 346.5 Ω

OFF HOOK switch: pushed⁽¹⁾

959.5 to 1060.5 Ω

⁽¹⁾	for 7 Speakers

If the result is not as specified, replace the steering pad switch assembly.
