Inspection Procedure

HINT:

After the inspection is completed, clear the DTCs.

1. CHECK IF A PROPER CD IS INSERTED 
   1. Make sure that the CD is a audio CD or a CD with an MP3 file, and that it is not deformed, flawed, stained, deteriorated, or otherwise defective.

      OK: The CD is normal  .

      HINT:

      • Translucent or uniquely-shaped CDs cannot be played.
      • For details on playable CDs, refer to the owner's manual.

        NG: DISC IS FAULTY 

        OK: Go to Next Step 

2. REPLACE DISC WITH ANOTHER AND RECHECK 
   1. Replace the disc with a known good one and recheck.
      1. Replace the disc with a known good one.
      2. Clear the DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR  ).
      3. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.

         OK: Malfunction disappears  .

         NG: REPLACE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL  )

         OK: END
