Inspection Procedure
- CHECK OPERATION FUNCTION AFTER IGNITION SWITCH IS TURNED OFF
- Check the power window operation function after the ignition switch is turned off.

A: Go to Next Step
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (FRONT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menu items: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.
- Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.
Main Body (Main Body ECU (Instrument Panel Junction Block))

OFF: Driver door closed- OK: On the Techstream screen, the item changes between ON and OFF according to the chart above .
NG: Go to step 3
OK: REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK)
- INSPECT FRONT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (Driver Side)
- Remove the front door courtesy light switch (driver side) (See FRONT DOOR COURTESY SWITCH ).
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

OK: Go to Next Step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH - MAIN BODY ECU)
- Disconnect the instrument panel junction block connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK)
