Terminals Of Ecu
- CHECK HEATER CONTROL (BLOWER SWITCH)
- Disconnect the E58 blower switch connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
VOLTAGE SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition E58-2 (RDEF) - E58-5 (E) BE - W-B Rear defogger signal Ignition switch ON, Rear window defogger switch OFF 11 to 14 V Ignition switch ON, Rear window defogger switch ON Below 1 V E58-3 (IG+) - E58-5 (E) R - W-B Power source (IG) Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V Ignition switch off Below 1 V If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
RESISTANCE SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition E58-5 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.
- CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK)
- Disconnect the 2F, 2G and 2Q instrument panel junction block connectors.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
