Rear Seat Assembly: Disassembly

  1. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK BOARD LH 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 hooks.
    3. Disengage the 3 guides and remove the rear seatback board LH as shown in the illustration.

  2. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK RELEASE BUTTON LH 
    1. Remove the rear seatback lock release button LH as shown in the illustration.

  3. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK STOP BUTTON GROMMET LH 
    1. Using needle-nose pliers, disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear seatback stop button grommet LH as shown in the illustration.
      NOTE: Wrap the needle-nose pliers with a shop rag or piece of cloth to prevent damage to the rear seatback stop button grommet or the separate type rear seatback cover.

  4. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD LH 
    1. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.
    2. Remove the 10 hog rings.

    3. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 rear seat headrest supports.
    4. Remove the rear seatback cover with pad LH from the rear seatback frame sub-assembly LH.

  5. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER LH 
    1. Remove the 6 hog rings and the separate type rear seatback cover LH.

  6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and the rear seatback lock assembly LH.

  7. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK BOARD RH 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 3 hooks.
    3. Disengage the 4 guides and remove the rear seatback board RH as shown in the illustration.
  8. REMOVE SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP  (See REMOVAL )
  9. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT HOLE COVER  (See REMOVAL )
  10. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )

  11. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK RELEASE BUTTON RH 
    1. Remove the rear seatback lock release button RH as shown in the illustration.

  12. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK STOP BUTTON GROMMET RH 
    1. Using needle-nose pliers, disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear seatback stop button grommet RH as shown in the illustration.
      NOTE: Wrap the needle-nose pliers with a shop rag or piece of cloth to prevent damage to the rear seatback stop button grommet or the separate type rear seatback cover.

  13. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD RH 
    1. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.
    2. Remove the 12 hog rings.

    3. Disengage the 8 claws and remove the 4 rear seat headrest supports.
    4. Remove the rear seatback cover with pad RH from the rear seatback frame sub-assembly RH.

  14. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER RH 
    1. Remove the 6 hog rings and the separate type rear seatback cover RH.

  15. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and the rear seatback lock assembly RH.
  16. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER 
    1. Remove the 27 hog rings.

    2. Remove the 12 hog rings and the bench type rear seat cushion cover.
