Rear Seat Assembly: Reassembly

  1. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER 
    1. Using hog ring pliers, install 12 new hog rings to the cushion cover and cushion pad.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install the bench type rear seat cushion cover with 27 new hog rings.

  2. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Install the 2 bolts and the rear seatback lock assembly RH.

      Torque: 30 N*m (306 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf)

  3. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER RH 
    1. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seatback cover RH with 6 new hog rings.
      NOTE:
      • Be careful not to damage the cover.
      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
  4. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD RH 
    1. Temporarily install the rear seatback cover with pad RH to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly RH.

    2. Engage the 8 claws and install the 4 rear seat headrest supports.
    3. Using hog ring pliers, install 12 new hog rings to the seatback cover and the seatback frame.

      NOTE:
      • Be careful not to damage the cover.
      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
    4. Engage the hook and install the rear seatback cover with pad RH as shown in the illustration.
  5. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK STOP BUTTON GROMMET RH 
    1. Engage the 2 claws and install the rear seatback stop button grommet RH.

  6. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK RELEASE BUTTON RH 
    1. Install the rear seatback lock release button RH as shown in the illustration.
  7. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  8. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT HOLE COVER  (See INSTALLATION )

  9. INSTALL SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP  (See INSTALLATION )
  10. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK BOARD RH 
    1. Engage the 4 guides.
    2. Engage the 3 hooks as shown in the illustration.

    3. Install the rear seatback board RH with the 2 screws.

  11. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Install the 2 bolts and the rear seatback lock assembly LH.

      Torque: 30 N*m (306 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf)

  12. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER LH 
    1. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seatback cover LH with 6 new hog rings.
      NOTE:
      • Be careful not to damage the cover.
      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.
  13. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD LH 
    1. Temporarily install the rear seatback cover with pad LH to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly LH.

    2. Engage the 4 claws and install the 2 rear seat headrest supports.

    3. Using hog ring pliers, install 10 new hog rings to the seatback cover and the seatback frame.

      NOTE:
      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

    4. Engage the hook and install the rear seatback cover with pad LH as shown in the illustration.
  14. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK STOP BUTTON GROMMET LH 
    1. Engage the 2 claws and install the rear seatback stop button grommet LH.

  15. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK RELEASE BUTTON LH 
    1. Install the rear seatback lock release button LH as shown in the illustration.

  16. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK BOARD LH 
    1. Engage the 3 guides.
    2. Engage the 2 hooks as shown in the illustration.

    3. Install the rear seatback board LH with the 2 screws.
