Charging System (2ZR-FE): Generator: Installation

INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
1. Install the wire harness clamp bracket with the bolt.
  Torque: 8.4 N*m (86 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf)

2. Temporarily install the generator assembly with the 2 bolts.

3. Install the generator connector and wire harness clamp.
4. Install the wire harness to terminal B with the nut and install the terminal cap.
  Torque: 9.8 N*m (100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf)

INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT (See REMOVAL )
ADJUST V-RIBBED BELT (See REMOVAL )
INSPECT V-RIBBED BELT (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
