Accelerator Pedal Rod: Installation

  1. INSTALL ACCELERATOR PEDAL ROD 
    1. Install the accelerator pedal rod with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 7.5 N*m (77 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf) 

    2. Connect the accelerator pedal position sensor connector.

  2. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL  (See INSTALLATION )
  3. INSTALL REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
      CAUTION: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
