Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC 
    1. Clear DTC (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
    2. Turn the ignition switch off.
    3. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal and wait for 1 minute.
    4. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
    5. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    6. Check DTC.

      Result 

      RESULT CHART

      Result Proceed to
      DTC is not output A
      DTC P060B is output B
      DTC P060B and P0327, P0328 are output C

      B: REPLACE ECM  (See REMOVAL )

      C: GO TO DTC (P0327, P0328)  (See DTC P0327 KNOCK SENSOR 1 CIRCUIT LOW INPUT (BANK 1 OR SINGLE SENSOR); DTC P0328 KNOCK SENSOR 1 CIRCUIT HIGH INPUT (BANK 1 OR SINGLE SENSOR) )

      A: CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS  (See CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS )
