Inspection Procedure
- INSPECT FUSE (ACC, AMP)
- Disconnect the AMP fuse from the engine room No. 1 relay block.
- Disconnect the ACC fuse from the instrument panel junction block.
- Measure the resistance of the fuses.
Standard resistance:
Below 1 Ω
NG: REPLACE FUSE
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - BATTERY AND CONNECTOR)
- Disconnect the L13, L14 and L15 amplifier connectors.
- Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
STANDARD VOLTAGE REFERENCE CHARTTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition L13-12 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V L15-1 (+B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V L15-5 (+B2) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V Standard Resistance
STANDARD RESISTANCE REFERENCE CHARTTester Connection Specified Condition L14-7 (GND2) - Body ground Below 1 Ω L14-6 (GND) - Body ground Below 1 Ω NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
