Steering Pad Switch: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
  2. REMOVE STEERING PAD ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  3. REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/o Telephone Microphone) 
    1. Disconnect the connectors.
    2. Remove the screw.
    3. Detach the claw and remove the steering pad switch assembly.

  4. REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Telephone Microphone) 
    1. Disconnect the connectors.
    2. Remove the 2 screws.
    3. Detach the 2 claws and remove the steering pad switch assembly.
