Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK DISC PLAYER CHANGER 
    • OK: EJECT DISC PLAYER MAGAZINE 
    • NG: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DISC PLAYER CHANGER - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the D26 changer connector.
    2. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard resistance 

      DISC PLAYER CHANGER - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND (RESISTANCE)

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      D26-20 (GND) - Body ground Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard voltage 

      DISC PLAYER CHANGER - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND (VOLTAGE)

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D26-10 (+B) - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V
      D26-1 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC 10 to 14 V
      • NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
      • OK: REPLACE DISC PLAYER CHANGER
