On-Vehicle Inspection
- INSPECT INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK (C/OPN RELAY) NOTE: The circuit opening relay is built into the instrument panel junction block.
- Measure the resistance of the circuit opening relay circuit.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1B-11 - 1A-8 Battery voltage is not applied to terminals 1E-5 and 1D-1 10 kΩ or higher 1B-11-1A-8 Battery voltage is applied to terminals 1E-5 and 1D-1 Below 1 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the instrument panel junction block.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Measure the resistance of the circuit opening relay circuit.
