Inspection Procedure
- INSPECT STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester connection Condition Specified condition MUTE - Body ground Turn ignition switch to ACC, Audio system is playing → Changing Above 3.5 V → Below 1 V
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
NG: Go to next step.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER)
- Disconnect the navigation receiver assembly connector R15 and television display assembly connector S11.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester connection Condition Specified condition R15-7 (MUTE) - S11-1 (MUTE) Always Below 1 Ω MUTE - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step.
- REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER
- Replace the stereo component amplifier and check if it operates normally.
OK: The navigation system operates normally.
OK: NORMAL OPERATION
NG: REPLACE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
- Replace the stereo component amplifier and check if it operates normally.
