Yaw Rate And Acceleration Sensor: Installation

  1. INSTALL YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR 
    1. Install the yaw rate and acceleration sensor to the bracket with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)

    2. Install the yaw rate and acceleration sensor with bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 13 N*m (127 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf)

      NOTE:
      • Be sure to insert the yaw rate and acceleration sensor claw into the stopper hole while installing the yaw rate and acceleration sensor.
      • Do not damage the yaw rate and acceleration sensor.
      • Make sure that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor is installed securely.
    3. Connect the connector to the yaw rate and acceleration sensor.
      NOTE: Make sure that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor connector is connected securely.
  2. INSTALL NO. 4 CENTER MEMBER FLOOR REINFORCE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the No. 4 center member floor reinforce sub-assembly with the 7 bolts.

      Torque: 19 N*m (194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf) 

    2. Return the floor carpet assembly to an original state.

  8. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH  (See INSTALLATION )
  9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH  (See INSTALLATION )
  10. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL  (See INSTALLATION )
  11. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  12. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  13. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  14. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  15. INSTALL NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX CARPET  (See INSTALLATION )
  16. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Seat Heater System)  (See INSTALLATION )
  17. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)  (See INSTALLATION )
  18. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (for Manual Seat) 

    HINT:

    Refer to the instructions for Installation of the front seat assembly LH (See INSTALLATION ).

  19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (for Power Seat) 

    HINT:

    Refer to the instructions for Installation of the front seat assembly LH (See INSTALLATION )

  20. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Manual Seat) 

    HINT:

    Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

  21. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Power Seat) 

    HINT:

    Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

  22. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
  23. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT 

    HINT:
