Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: Installation

  1. INSTALL ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Install a new gasket to the sensor.

      Text in Illustration 

      ILLUSTRATION LEGEND

      *1 New Gasket
    2. Install the engine coolant temperature sensor.

      Torque: 20 N*m (204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

  2. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE  (See INSTALLATION )
  3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION  )
  5. INSTALL NO. 1 VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. ADD ENGINE COOLANT  (See REPLACEMENT )
  7. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK  (See COOLING SYSTEM )
  8. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  9. INSTALL OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  10. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK 
    1. Install the windshield wiper motor and link (See INSTALLATION ).
  11. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER 
  12. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
