License Plate Light Assembly: Installation

HINT:

Use the same procedures for the RH and LH sides.
The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT LENS
1. Install the bulb to the socket.
2. Install the bulb/socket unit to light.
3. Connect the connector.
4. Install the light as shown in Fig 1.
INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUBASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD ASSEMBLY (See REASSEMBLY )
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
PERFORM INITIALIZATION
1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
  NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
