Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: Removal: Removal

  1. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 2
  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 1
  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 17
  4. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT  . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 4
  5. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 22
  6. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

    1. Disconnect the sensor connector.
    2. Using a 19 mm deep socket wrench, remove the sensor.
    3. Remove the gasket from the sensor.
