Yaw Rate And Deceleration Sensor: Installation: Installation

  1. INSTALL YAW RATE SENSOR 
    1. Connect the sensor connector, and then attach the clamp to the hole of the sensor bracket.
      NOTE:

      Securely connect the connector.

    2. Install the yaw rate sensor with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 15 N*m (148 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE:
      • Make sure that the sensor is oriented correctly.
      • If the sensor is dropped, replace it.
      • When installing the sensor, make sure to avoid impacts to the sensor.

  2. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Cool Box)  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 42
  3. INSTALL COOLING BOX ASSEMBLY (w/ Cool Box)  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 41
  4. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 43
  5. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER COVER (w/ Cool Box)  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 44
  6. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 45
  7. INSTALL CONSOLE CUP HOLDER BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 46

  12. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL CUSHION  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 51
  13. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 52
  14. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL CUSHION  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 53
  15. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Cool Box) 
    1. Install the front seat assembly LH. Refer to INSTALLATION .
  16. CHARGE REFRIGERANT (w/ Cool Box)  . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 2
  17. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  18. REMOVE WARM UP ENGINE (w/ Cool Box)  . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 3
  19. CHECK FOR REFRIGERANT GAS LEAK (w/ Cool Box)  . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 4
  20. PERFORM YAW RATE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION 
    1. Perform the yaw rate sensor zero point calibration. Refer to CALIBRATION .
  21. CHECK YAW RATE SENSOR SIGNAL 
    1. Check the yaw rate sensor signal. Refer to TEST MODE PROCEDURE .
