Sound Signal Circuit between Radio Receiver and Stereo Component Amplifier: Procedure

1. Disconnect the connectors from the radio receiver and the stereo component amplifier.

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   E40-9 (L+) - E34-3 (L+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E40-19 (L-) - E34-2 (L-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E40-8 (R+) - E34-5 (R+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E40-18 (R-) - E34-4 (R-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E40-9 (L+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   E40-19 (L-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   E40-8 (R+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   E40-18 (R-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
