Transmission Control ECU Communication Stop Mode: Procedure
- CHECK CAN BUS WIRE FOR DISCONNECTION (TRANSMISSION CONTROL ECU BRANCH WIRE)
- Turn the power switch off.
- Disconnect the transmission control ECU connector.

(to Transmission Control ECU) - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition A24-16 (CA1H) - A24-15 (CA1L) Power switch off 54 to 69 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BUS MAIN WIRE OR CONNECTOR (ECM MAIN WIRE)
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE TERMINAL)
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A23-16 (+B) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V Callouts For Fig. 80*1 Front view of wire harness connector
(to Transmission Control ECU)
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)
OK: Go to next step
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GROUND TERMINAL)
- Disconnect the transmission control ECU connector.

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (GROUND CIRCUIT)
OK → See step 4
- Disconnect the transmission control ECU connector.
- REPLACE TRANSMISSION CONTROL ECU. Refer to REMOVAL
