Driver Side Power Window Auto Up / Down Function does not Operate with Power Window Master Switch: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
      RESULT

      Result Proceed to
      DTC is not output A
      DTC B2311 is output B
      DTC B2312 is output C
      DTC B2313 is output D
      LIN communication system DTCs are output E

    E → See step   8 

    D → See step   10 

    C → See step   7 

    B → See step   9 

    A: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK MANUAL UP / DOWN FUNCTION 
    1. Check that the manual UP/DOWN function using the master switch can operate the driver side power window. Refer to OPERATION CHECK .

      OK

      Manual UP/DOWN function operates normally.

    NG → See step   4 

    OK: Go to next step 

  3. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (MASTER SWITCH) 
    1. Use the Data List to check if the master switch is functioning properly.
      MASTER SWITCH

      Tester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note
      D Door P/W Auto SW Driver side power window auto UP/ DOWN switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Driver side switch operated
      OFF: Driver side switch not operated

      OK

      The Techstream display changes normally when master switch is operated.

    NG → See step   5 

    OK → See step   6 

  4. GO TO FLOWCHART (DRIVER SIDE MOTOR CIRCUIT). Refer to  Driver Side Power Window does not Operate with Power Window Master Switch  
  5. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL 
  6. REPLACE FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL 
  7. GO TO DTC (B2312). Refer to  DTC B2312: Power Window Switch Malfunction  
  8. GO TO LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING 
  9. GO TO DTC (B2311). Refer to  DTC B2311: Power Window Motor Malfunction  
  10. GO TO DTC (B2313). Refer to  DTC B2313: Glass Position Initialization Incomplete
