Knock Sensor: Removal: Removal

  1. REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the engine. Refer to REMOVAL .
  2. REMOVE CYLINDER HEAD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for Bank 1) 
    1. Remove the cylinder head RH. Refer to REMOVAL .
  3. REMOVE NO. 1 WATER OUTLET PIPE 
    1. Remove the 4 wire harness clamps.

    2. Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and water outlet pipe.
  4. REMOVE KNOCK SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the 2 sensor connectors.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 sensors.
