All Power Windows does not Operate with Door Key Cylinder: Procedure

  1. CHECK LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 
    1. Check for LIN communication system DTCs related to the power window control system.

      OK

      LIN communication system DTCs are not output.

    NG → See step   7 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK FOR DTC (B2312) 
    1. Check if DTC B2312 is output. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .

      OK

      DTC B2312 is not output.

    NG → See step   8 

    OK: Go to next step 

  3. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (DOOR LOCK SWITCH) 
    1. Use the Data List to check if the door lock switch is functioning properly.
      MAIN BODY

      Tester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note
      Door Key SW-Lock Door key linked lock switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Driver side door key cylinder is turned to lock position
      OFF: Driver side door key cylinder is not turned
      -
      Door Key SW-Unlock Door key linked unlock switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Driver side door key cylinder is turned to unlock position
      OFF: Driver side door key cylinder is not turned
      -

      OK

      On the Techstream screen, each item changes between ON and OFF according to above chart.

    NG → See step   5 

    OK: Go to next step 

  4. CHECK POWER WINDOW MANUAL FUNCTION 
    1. Check that the manual UP/DOWN function using the master switch can operate the front door power window LH and RH. Refer to OPERATION CHECK .

    NG → See step   6 

    OK → REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK) 

  5. GO TO POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING 
  6. PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 
  7. GO TO LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING 
  8. GO TO DTC (B2312). Refer to  DTC B2312: Power Window Switch Malfunction
