Navigation Receiver Assembly Power Source Circuit: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the G21 and G18 navigation receiver assembly connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      G21-20 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      G21-1 (B) - G21-20 (GND) Always 11 to 14 V
      G21-11 (ACC) - G21-20 (GND) Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V
      G18-2 (IG) - G21-20 (GND) Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

      (to Navigation Receiver Assembly)

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK → See step   2 

  2. PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
