Sound Signal Circuit between Navigation Receiver Assembly and Multi-media Interface ECU: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER - MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the G19 navigation receiver assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the G11 multi-media interface ECU connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G19-1 (CSLD) - G11-1 (USD1) Always Below 1 Ω
      G19-2 (CDR+) - G11-2 (URO+) Always Below 1 Ω
      G19-3 (CDR-) - G11-3 (URO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      G19-4 (CDL+) - G11-4 (ULO+) Always Below 1 Ω
      G19-5 (CDL-) - G11-5 (ULO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      G19-1 (CSLD) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      G19-2 (CDR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G19-3 (CDR-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G19-4 (CDL+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G19-5 (CDL-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

    OK → See step   2 

  2. PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
